We are very pleased to be offering this very rare and unique 1967 Porsche 911S long block engine.  These are the most coveted, unique, and highest horsepower Porsche engines of the era.  They made over 160HP.  These motors were only made from 1966 to 1968 and were way ahead of their time being made completely out of aluminum.  Aluminum engines were essentially space age technology for that day, and Porsche was on the cutting edge of the technology at the time.  This is a long block meaning that it does not include the fans or the carburetors, but the correct versions of these are readily available, much more than the engine blocks themselves.

The motor has also had the 930S pressure tensioners professionally installed to protect against high revs and provide a piece of mind and insurance for such a valuable motor. It also has the original and correct oil cooler.  The serial number for this engine is 961946.  If you have looked for these, you know how rare and desirable these are. This motor is in good running and working order and ready to be the heartbeat of another great Porsche. Project plans of the owner have changed making this rare engine now available.  Transportation and crating costs are to be the responsibility of the buyer.
