We are pleased to now be offering this beautiful and very rare 1972 AMC SST Javelin. These were the second year of the second generation Javelin but the first year to have the egg crate grill and matching taillights. This car has been completely body-off restored and has an album of photos documenting the process that is included. It is beautiful with the purple paint over black interior combination and the black vinyl Landau top. Most sources believe just over 200 cars had this very unique Landau top making it exceedingly rare.

It has the AMC 360 V8 backed by the three speed Torque-Command automatic. It runs and drives great and has a mild cam giving it that classic muscle car sound. The transmission shifts strong with a shift kit. It runs and drives great. Power front disc and rear drum brakes assist with the driving experience. The driver oriented interior is very original and even maintains the original AM/FM AMC radio. A fire extinguisher painted in the same purple rounds out the presentation. This car drives and presents very well.
